Many Paths Lead to the Same Destination

Real talk - the business model I'm currently operating and building out was something I envisioned in 2018. And at that time, I was so confused on how to go about building it, I put a pin in it and let it go. It wasn't until the other day when talking to one of my clients that I had this realization: getting a glimpse of a future timeline early can ensure you, consciously and subconsciously, make your way there eventually.

So many of us are programmed in “yang” energy aka the masculine - You want it? You go and get it, now. While it makes for a cutesy premise for an Ariana Grande bop, it's a limited view of the whole picture. And if yang is solely relied on for a business, it begets a flimsy structure (looking at you Elizabeth Holmes). *Guiness book submission for using Arianda Grande and Elizabeth Holmes in a paragraph together.

If I hadn't said “Whatever, I'm getting cheese fries (my own business started)” I wouldn't have known what it takes to be an intutive practitioner, identifying who I can best serve and how, realizing how under resourced the industry is, prompting a business model and name change and now, building the next iteration of structure to support myself and other practitioners within the collective. Five years of a journey where every single step was necessary.

More on the next phase of Capricorn Rising Inc. soon, but if you want to jam a little more on realistic timelines for building a profitable business as freelancer or entrepreneur, you're in luck. This week, have my SUPER talented Brand Designer Caroline on the podcast to talk about this and…

  • The tools to build a personal brand

  • Why quality branding translates to attracting the most engaged audience (and higher profits)

  • Using human design to operate a business

  • Translating core values into design (with a bunch of examples)

…and so much more

This is my Roman Empire!
