Are You Stuck in “Golden Handcuffs”?
Let’s talk intuitive business models.
Which, if you’re like me 5 years ago, you thought this phrase was an oxymoron. Turns out, if your mission, core values and ecosystem is thoughtful, you can have a sustainable regenerative intuitive business. Many businesses large and small have this instated, so you can figure out if:
a. You work for one
b. How to spot one in the wild and
c. How to create one.

If you’re feeling stuck in a corporate position due to financial constraints (aka the “Golden Handcuffs”), you’re not alone. For some reason, the Universe has given me multiple wonderful clients this week struggling to break free of the guilt (“I should be so grateful for this job” or “My family sacrificed to get me here”), scarcity mindset around money (“This is the only job that will pay me X”) or time (“I’ve already invested so much time here” or “that promotion is only X months away.”) all attached to these symbols of imprisonment.
(And if the language of “jail” scares you - it should!)
The path to freedom is supremely simple: create new pathways. I’ve been working on that with those wonderful ladies aforementioned and we can also do that work together in a Career or Executive Coaching session/program.
BTW, some of you have asked the difference between the two, and it’s based on this simple distinction: if you’re leading a team or business right now. That requires Executive Coaching because there’s many more moving parts for us to unpack and organize as you level up.
