Is Your Intuition Blocked?
Last week we provided you with 11 excellent tarot prompts that allowed you to embark on a personal journey of self-discovery guided by your higher self. I’m curious, what mood were you in when you did the reading? Calm and collected? Anxious to receive answers? Overwhelmed or heavy? Did you follow the instructions and take a minute to anchor in first? Taking the time to do so allows your energy to ground and create a more open channel for your intuition to come through. If you are anxious or overwhelmed, your intuition can be blocked or add a more critical lens on the reading.
If you were able to connect and receive what you needed, did you sit with the cards to see what answers came to you intuitively or immediately read the guidebook to find your answers?
If you had any trouble gaining clarity, or just curious to see if setting the table reveals more clarity, revisit your prompt and try the exercise below.
As a reminder, here were the tarot prompts:

What guidance does my higher self offer regarding my business's long-term sustainability and success?
Who should I consider in my orbit when seeking partnerships or collaborations?
What opportunities should I be aware of in my industry?
What should I focus on to improve the financial health of my business?
What strengths do I possess that I can leverage to excel in my current role?
What insights can the tarot offer regarding my work-life balance and well-being?
What is the overall trajectory of my job satisfaction and fulfillment in the near future?
What learning and skill development opportunities should I pursue to further my career?

How can I inspire and motivate my team more effectively?
Close your eyes. Inhale for four, exhale for four. Repeat 3x. Allow your breath to go back to normal. Imagine a root growing from the soles of your feet down into the earth, burrowing and growing deep into the world. Imagine a light bursting out of the top of your head through your crown chakra, connecting to your higher self and guides. Ask that any blocks be cleared and released. Inhale, focusing on feeling love and gratitude; exhale, releasing resistance. Open your eyes and shuffle your deck while you think about your prompt. Feel the love and gratitude spread through your body to your deck. Focus on amplifying that feeling through your body and your open channel. Choose your cards from this place of deep knowing. Flip them over slowly. Sit with them. Take the time to reflect on the information you receive before going to the guidebook. The answers are internal.
Spend a few minutes journaling about the cards that you pulled. See what other insight comes through writing. Taking the time to ground and clear before using tarot allows you to let go of the energy you pick up from others and connect to your deeper knowing. When you incorporate clearing and grounding at the start of your tarot practice, you will strengthen your intuition and be aware of other ways you tap into it. Stay tuned for next week when we talk about how to tap into your intuition without a tool like a tarot deck, perfect to keep in your toolkit when in a meeting, writing a pitch email or any other time that the need for answers strikes.
