Capricorn Season Forecast and the Year Ahead
Capricorn season gets both the quiet reflection of end of year AND the foresight and enthusiasm of the new year. I can’t help but compare it to the strategic, holistic way Capricorns think. It’s chess not checkers, honey.
To know the archetype of Capricorn, represented by the Sea goat, is to love their strong willed determination, their efficient effort and resourceful resilience. Naming our business after the keen business sign was an effort to project all of these attributes.
As you mark your calendar for the upcoming season, keep in mind that you are the creator of your experience, What you seek is seeking you so make sure you think it all the way through and prepare yourself - be it through research, study, or hard work, to receive. Take your manifestation seriously!
Astrology:
Jupiter in Gemini square Saturn in Pisces Dec. 24th - Not Christmas eve packing a punch this year! This is a tense aspect, made better by Jupiter opposing Mercury in Sagittarius. Given these are all mutable signs, it’s likely to have disagreements with family members due to differences of opinion. I also can see boundaries (or lack thereof) being the point of contention. Do your best to find common ground…even if that’s just that you love each other deep down.
Capricorn New Moon Dec. 30th - The last Capricorn New Moon was January 11th, 2024. Look back at your New Year’s resolutions - did what you ask for come to fruition? If so, great! If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Set new goals and do what has worked for you until there’s a natural stopping point. If your normal tactics haven’t worked, check in to see what tool is needed. Then go make it / embody it / study for it / ask for it.
Mars opposes Pluto the first week of January - One of my favorite quotes from Shamen Durek from his episode of Almost 30 a few years back will be the mood this week: “queens don’t argue.” True power comes from holding your ground and letting people know where you stand, so they can rise to meet you or not.
Full Moon in Cancer on Jan 13th. - This moon is conjunct Mars retrograde in Cancer. This will have a full circle lesson for you, particularly involving parenting if you are a parent or reparenting that needs to be done for your inner child (Capricorn represents fatherhood and Cancer represents motherhood). Most likely, it will be a blend of both, given most of parenting is also reparenting (if you’re doin it consciously). Reflect on the will of your child(ren) and inner child / children of similar ages to your own / your inner child around 7 or 14 (age of Saturn squares). How can you support them now? Can you remove blocks for them? Spend time reflecting and making conscious choices for all the children involved. If you need support, join a conscious parenting group.
